Looking for a school place for your child? Please contact us to arrange a visit.
Welcome to our Marsh Baldon CE Primary School website. My name is Carolyn Hanwell and I am very proud to be the headteacher of this unique and vibrant school. We are a small, inclusive primary school in an idyllic location at the heart of the Marsh Baldon village community, just a few miles south of the city of Oxford.
As a committed and skilled team of staff, our priority is to ensure that our children flourish in all aspects of their development. As well as academic success, we are passionate about our children growing up to live fulfilling and meaningful lives. This is rooted in our Christian vision, ‘I came to give you life, life in all its fullness’ John 10:10. We do this through building strong, positive relationships and creating a warm and empathetic environment where everybody feels valued and respected. Our values are modelled at all times by staff in the language they use and the way they communicate, act and behave towards each other.
Children are encouraged to explore moral and spiritual values, whatever their beliefs or world views are, and to develop a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them. Our curriculum is ambitious, creative and broad. We want our children to remember their time with us for the richness of the experiences and opportunities we provide.
When you visit our school, you will see happy, respectful and well-informed children and adults who have a deep sense of belonging, identity and purpose. Please come and take a look for yourselves. Contact our school office if you would like to book a visit. We look forward to welcoming you.
