Welcome to Marsh Baldon Church of England Primary School
‘I came to give life, life in all its fullness’ John 10:10
My name is Carolyn Hanwell and I am delighted to be the headteacher of this unique small school.
We are a primary school in an idyllic location at the heart of the Marsh Baldon village community, just a few miles south of the city of Oxford. Our pupils come from the local communities of the Baldons and Nuneham Courtenay, as well as from other nearby areas. We have 75 pupils, age 4-11 years and we are proud of our small, inclusive school. We are a growing school and currently have space in some year groups.
We are a committed team at Marsh Baldon. Our priority is to ensure that our children flourish and mature in all aspects of their development. We are committed to ensuring excellent academic outcomes for all children and across the curriculum. We are also committed to creating a warm and empathetic environment where children learn to build good relationships, where they feel valued and listened to and where children can follow their enthusiasms. This is rooted in our Christian vision 'I came to give life, life in all it's fullness' John 10:10. Whatever the children's worldviews or religious beliefs, children are encouraged to explore moral and spiritual values and to debate the bigger questions in life so that they develop a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them. We want them to learn to live their best life.
Please check out our video in the 'Gallery' and browse the information on the website. We hope you are able to get a real feel for our school and obtain all of the information you need. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you wish to find out more or have any questions. We look forward to welcoming you to our school soon.
