Our School Values

Through consultation, the community of Marsh Baldon Church of England Primary School has agreed six core values, underpinned by Christian values. Our values are things we believe in that help us to make decisions about how we behave in and out of school; they are the principles that guide us is our lives. Our values are rooted in the fact that we are a church school with a Christian foundation.

At Marsh Baldon C of E School our core values are:

Love, Teamwork, Trust, Moral Courage, Respect and Courage.

‚Äč"Trust is the very essence of faith; trust in the God who is trustworthy."

Our Class Assembly on being trustworthy

On Tuesday 22nd November, we led a class assembly on Trust/being trustworthy. We asked the class to think about what being trustworthy means to them. The children talked about different examples of trust they have seen or shown. We watched a video about a boy named Teddy who showed us examples where someone was showing trust and an example of not showing trust. We all learnt that being trustworthy is linked to being respectful. We found a quote about trust the quote said:“Trust your own inner guidance. Have faith that your steps are carrying you towards your dreams.” We all agreed that we also need to know when to trust ourselves.

By Faith, Tilly and Zak

Love means:

  • Caring for one another. Janice
  • Thinking about others. Isabella
  • Showing compassion towards people. If someone is hurt or sad on the playground you could play with them and make them smile or help them. Ammarah
