I am very proud to be the Headteacher of our delightful school. Please look through our website and make an appointment to come and visit our school; we are committed to making everyone feel welcome here!
We are a small Church of England Primary school in an idyllic location at the heart of the Marsh Baldon village community, south of the city of Oxford. We have approximately 60 pupils, age 4 -11 years, who are divided into 3 mixed age classes. We are proud of our diverse, inclusive school; our pupils come from the local communities of the Baldons and Nuneham Courtenay, as well as surrounding villages including Sandford-on-Thames, Littlemore, Greater Leys, Berinsfield, Kennington and Wheatley.
We support our pupils to grow and learn informed by the Christian values of love, respect, trust and moral courage. I am very proud of the staff and pupils who make our school such a happy, lively and caring place to be.
The success of our recent SIAMs (Church of England) Inspection is something that the whole school community can be very proud of. The report says that:
“The commitment to ‘nothing but the very best for our children’ is the heart of the school. This ensures that there is an inclusive learning situation, with good teaching that recognises the needs of each individual.”
“Staff are adamant about their Christian care and love for the children and the entitlement of every child to have the best possible education”.
I couldn’t have put it better myself!
With very best wishes,
Sarah Herring, Headteacher
