After School Clubs

The following After School Clubs currently take place:

 

Mondays

Cooking Club

Run by Miss Slater in the hall

3.15pm-4.15pm

Cost: £36 for the term up to 9th December

Key Stage 2 only (years 3-6): 12 places available

Ingredients are supplied each week, and the children follow a recipe to make something delicious.  Aprons are provided.

 

Young Scientists Club

Run by Miss Christiensen in Swallows Class

3.15pm-4.15pm

Cost: £36 for the term up to 9th December

Years 1-3 (spaces will be offered to Years 4-6 if there is availability): 15 places available

We are hoping for some university students to join us later in the term to help run this club.

 

Tuesdays

Football Club

Run by Oxford United on the field

3.10pm-4.15pm

Cost: £54 for the term up to 10th December

All ages   

Football Club will be outside unless there is torrential rain! 

Children can wear their PE kit, or their own choice of sport top and shorts/tracksuit.  Shin pads must be worn.

 

Dance Club

Run by Miss Christiensen in the hall

3.15pm-4.15pm

Cost: £36 for the term up to 10th December

All ages: 15 places available

Miss Christiensen was a competitive dancer, and has taught dance at Flair Dance Studio. 

Children can wear their PE kit, or their own choice of clothes suitable for dancing.   

 

Wednesdays

Art Club

Run by Little Masters in the hall

Wednesdays 3.15pm-4.30pm

Cost: £36 for the 6 week course

All ages

The theme this term is Safari Art - the projects until October half term are Fun with Clay, Quilling Art; Paint a Batik; Make an African Drum; Safari Art and a Weaving Project.

 

Try a session for free - please let us know if you would like your child to go to a session of Art Club to see if they might like to attend for the term

 

Thursdays

Multi-Sports Club

Run by Miss Slater & Miss Christiensen on the field

Thursdays 3.15pm-4.15pm

Cost: free

All ages: 20 places available

Try a different sport each term - sports offered include tag rugby; hockey; tennis; cricket; gymnastics and athletics.  Where possible, the club will take place on the astroturf and school field, unless the weather and light prevent this.  

Children can wear their PE kit, or their own choice of sport top and shorts/tracksuit.

 

Additional Information

  • Registration Forms for clubs are available below as well as on the Clubs noticeboard in the hall foyer.  Registration must be completed before attending any club.
  • All clubs start week commencing September 16th and run until the week ending 13th December.  Little Masters Art Club is slightly different as you need to register each half term. 
  • Payment is made directly to Oxford United and Little Masters for football and art clubs.  If your child wants to attend these clubs and is in receipt of Free School Meals, please come to the office to make arrangements. 
  • Payment/part-payment for Cooking, Young Scientist and Dance clubs is due before the Club begins - payment can be made in two instalments at the start of each half term.  Costs are currently £3 per session, but please note that this will increase to £3.50 per session in January.  
  • If the cost of any club is prohibitive to your child attending, please come and speak to us.
  • The school gate will be shut when clubs are running, and will be opened at the end of the session.
